This review is not to bash on this store or anyone working there. It is simply to promote that there needs to be changes and improvements done. Especially on hiring the right people for each role. Otherwise they will loose customers, and money. Especially my mother and I. I hope this store can go back to being that happy place that everyone enjoyed working and shopping at.
HANDLING: I recently bought 3 fragile pieces of furniture for my living room and bedroom that I can DIY, fix up and paint. As I’m waiting by the pickup area outside in my car, the male worker kept setting down the pieces harshly almost chipping and breaking them on the concrete floor. Yes, they are used pieces from someone else, but doesn’t mean you should handle them carelessly. Gave a complaint to an employee to pass on to the manager/boss since I couldn’t find her, but I guess no one cared to deliver.
You can find anything!!!
— Hope my review and as well as many other reviews on this post gets taken into consideration. Kind Regards, A regular customer.
ORGANAZATION/CLEANLINESS: oh my, where do I start? This category can be improved ALOT. When I enter the store, I immediately smell unpleasant stenches, even throughout the store. A little febreeze here and there can improve the atmosphere. Everything is misplaced or thrown where ever It can be thrown into. Makes me not want to look and go.
I love going there!!!! I've found so many nice things there for my kids n myself. I happened to go there today and guy was so upset at lady bc she went to the registers b4 him and he started cursing and carrying on. Come on man how immature was that. It really disgusted me. Its a sham tho, bc its such a relaxing place i think!
Always have the best prices.
PRICING: I have been going here for years with my mother because they used to have awesome prices and quality of nice used clothing. I have recently been going frequently this month to see if prices got better. Sadly, it did not. I’m guessing there are new employees that are probably young (teenage-mid 20’s) working in the back room thinking they can tag everything at department price in a thrift store... It got overpriced for used clothing, even used clothing with gaping holes or malicious stains. I seen an off brand jacket for $20 (ridiculous) with a big beautiful dark brown STAIN on the back and sleeve which was obviously noticeable as well as a couple more items with ridiculous pricing for the condition they were in.
STAFF: The workers, that I believe were hired recently looks like there in a bad mood 24/7, at least everytime I go there. I would be in the bra section browsing and a female worker(maybe 20-21?) would be eyeing me down with an attitude while stocking the women’s section. It makes me feel uncomfortable as a customer who shops there regularly. I only see 2 original workers there that always greet me with a smile and sometimes a hug! + they initiate a conversation with me, vice versa. The rest can take notes from these lady’s.
Depends what you're looking for you can get used stuff but they charge you like if it was brand new so you got to be careful what you buy
Great variety of clothing for big .. small .. children .. toys .. belts .. purse .. pocket books .. ties .. shoes for all .. winter clothing .. summer .. spring .. fall ..
