I was very pleased with my cherry bedroom set! High dresser, bed w 2 drawer storage, vampire for my husband, night tableeous. ALL fit well, handled excellently by delivery, prompt, courteous and worked hard, many steps.
I purchased a sofa and was told it would be available for pickup in two weeks. I called after three weeks and was told it would be several more weeks. It has now been six weeks and I still don't have the sofa. No one has called me to even give me a timeframe for when the sofa will be available. I'm considering cancelling the order.
Bravo.I must have Picked the right ensemble on the floor, for a date a month later, due to remodelling! Now my friend who ordered her living room set, months ago, in advance to home closing is not getting any truths from the saleswomen, and the store, has it on display, again advertised it on Sale. It's a real hardship for her,
I will try and make this brief. I don’t do these, but felt obligated because of how awesome our experience was. My wife and I just bought a new house, we are on a budget and needed living room couch and a bed. This is the first place we came to for the furniture. In the past we went to Unclaimed Freight, and it felt like dealing with organized crime, so this time we came here first. Glad we did. Laura Schick greeted us at the door, she heard us out, she did not try to sell us or show us anything we would not want, she gave us space to talk and discuss; she acted more like a friend than a salesperson. After helping us find selections for both the living room, and the bed needed for master bedroom, she asked for a manager to help with costs; Josh Jones assisted with that and it was equally great! He was an active listener to our demands and concerns, and remembered things we said at a later time period. He was able to land us a great deal, and with sales at the time, help with delivery cost. The entire experience was fun, not painful like I expected. The atmosphere is extremely professional, yet open and fun; we were asked to try out the massage chairs they had on display. I waited to post this review after delivery, which was flawless yet again. Quick, 40 minute installation and delivery, with not a scratch anywhere. I would highly recommend Mealey’s Furniture in Whitehall, to anyone I know. We love the couch and the king bed! Thank you so much!
My girlfriend and I decided to buy a mattress. We went to a bunch of different places to find one and ended up buying it here. First off, the staff here is great. Our sales associate Brandon offered us multiple options and helped us get a better deal than the other place around had to offer. We also worked with Sheb, a manager who helped us get the price down to beat their competitors. I never felt like anything was pushed on us and they made sure we got what we wanted, not just what they wanted to sell us. The only thing that was inconvenient was the delivery process. The only option you have for delivery puts you in a position where you can't negotiate scheduling. We got a phone call on Friday night saying that they could only deliver the mattress between 5-8 PM Saturday night. This put a knife in our weekend plans. Besides that, the prices and the service were unmatched by any other furniture or mattress store we visited. I will be coming back for more furniture in the future. I just hope they change the way their delivery service is run by then.

Very nice shopping experience. Chris guided me to what I was looking for and then stepped back and let me shop around. He was helpful and knowledgeable when I requested info. The delivery was very easy. They called the day before to give me a time frame and came well within that time. The delivery men were courteous and efficient. Would definitely consider Mealey's for my next furniture purchase. Was lucky enough to catch a sale too so my bookcase was 50% off.
